  Derrick Erb

  Derrick hails from the surrounding greater Asheville, NC! Born and raised in Western North Carolina has given Derrick a great opportunity to watch this town grow and change from a small city to what it is today. It has also given him lots of insight into the hot areas not just inside the Asheville city limits but the surrounding areas as well!

  Byron Greiner

  Byron spent 25 years in the food brokerage business as a former Senior Vice President of Advantage Sales & Marketing (one of the largest food brokers in the county). He is a former restaurant owner in Asheville and is a resident of the Beaverdam community in Asheville. Byron has been active in many non-profits such as the Grove Arcade Foundation and the former president of the Grove Arcade Merchants Association. In addition, Byron has also been a member of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Asheville Downtown Association. He was very active on the Bele Chere board of directors as chairman. Byron served on the board of directors of Lutheridge + Lutherock Camping Ministries for many years. In his spare time, Byron enjoys spending time traveling. His team, the Dwell Realty group is a consistent top producing team with many awards.   Steve Noga (a.k.a. The Land Man)

  Steve known as "The Land Man", is from a large, loving, working-class family and grew up in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Region of Central New York. He is retired US Army (DAV) who has served in both the US Military Police & the Adjutant General Corps. Steve was Awarded the Army's Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) for his exemplary military service during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, which is the 2nd highest military award given during "Peace Time", before the government acknowledged it as an actual war. As an amateur photographer, outdoors-man & conservationist, Steve prefers to photograph his own listings and has an eye for that unique shot. He's often outdoors exercising his 4 Weimaraner rescue dogs. Steve's also active with Tarheel Weimaraner Rescue as a foster parent & rescue relay driver. Besides a LOVE for the land, he has a passion for history & Historic Preservation. As a REALTOR, Steve has been awarded numerous awards beginning with Southern Maryland's "Rookie of the Year" in 2003. Most recently in 2017 and 2018 he and the Team was awarded Top 100 REALTOR’s out of more than 2,000 brokers in the Land of the Sky Association of REALTORs as well as the Top 3 Team Overall Steve brings a wealth of real estate knowledge and land expertise specializing in Farms, Large Tract Land and Primary, Weekend & Luxury Homes.   John Patson

  A visit to Asheville in the Winter of 2007 was all it took to make John and his partner Vinnie realize that the Asheville area was the perfect place to make their next home. A native of Southeastern Pennsylvania, John went to UCLA in Los Angeles, before settling in Florida and a career in hospitality management. with Marriott and Ritz-Carlton. John's love of working with people, coupled with his attention to detail, made a career change to real estate a natural choice. Whether a client is looking to buy or sell a home or property, John uses his expertise and knowledge to guide them through the entire process.   Barclay Garnett

  After living in the Asheville area for more than 16 years, Barclay is thrilled to be joining the Dwell Team of Asheville. His experiences in the working world encompass a wide range of diversity, thus landing him in the prestigious world of real estate, a passion Barclay has held for many years. The passion for real estate began in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he invested first in residential properties and eventually led into investing in commercial properties as well. At one point in time, Barclay was a controlling partner in ten diverse properties which included single-family residences, multi-unit residences, and multi-unit commercial holdings. Simultaneously while investing in properties, Barclay was part owner of a digital imaging company that employed 14 people and enjoyed annual sales topping 1.5 million dollars. At one point, PubSet was widely known as the second-largest digital film separators in the tri-county area of South Florida. Barclay’s top priority in real estate is his clients’ wishes and the desire to make their wishes a reality. Having had the many opportunities to be on the buyer’s side of real estate and the seller’s side for more than 20 years, he knows how a client should be treated - they are number one! Additionally, Barclay certainly understands that “time is of the essence”. He understands that no matter how small or large a transaction may be, each and every client is important to the success of his business. In addition to his real estate passions, Barclay also gives back to the community by serving on the Board of Terpsicorps Theater of Dance in Asheville. Terpsicorps is known for producing innovative, thought-provoking, and entertaining performances of the highest professional caliber.

  DeAnne Hodge

  DeAnne has lived in North Carolina for 20 years, 10 of those years have been in Western NC. Originally from the Rocky Mountains, is where DeAnne admits, she pulls her love for everything outdoors, work and recreational. Dee has worked as a lumberjack, a truck driver (delivering to 48 states and Canada). DeAnne has helped deliver hurricane relief supplies on more than one occasion over the years. In the 1980’s Dee Served one term in the US Airforce as an F-16 Crew Chief. DeAnne has a love for old farmhouses and a passion for preserving the past. She is a member of the Royal North Carolina Reenactors, a non-profit that travels the East Coast sharing the history of 1700s at various historic sites and/or events. She has experience in rehabilitating old homes, including her own home which was built in 1840 by the Siamese Twins. DeAnne is an Artist and an avid animal lover, which is why she is involved in the USDA wolf rescue and USERL rescue for horses. DeAnne’s career in Real Estate began in the 1990s as one of the nation's first Buyer agents. Real Estate went on the back burner for a few years as she pursued her interest in public service. She starting as a volunteer firefighter then worked as a 911 Paramedic in Winston Salem and the last 4 years as a full-time Critical Care Paramedic for Mission Hospital (MAMA Ground Unit) here in Asheville NC. After some reflection and though she has recently circled back and renewed her NC Real Estate License and has decided to put her energetic drive back into her love of everything Real Estate! To prove this, she has already Completed the Accredited Land Consultant courses at LandU to be able to provide up to date knowledge for those looking to invest inland. Upon seeing Asheville, it became a dream of hers to live in the area! In 2000 DeAnne achieved this dream by marrying an NC native and the rest, as they say, is history! Currently, DeAnne and her family have a small 23-acre farm where they raise grass-fed Dexter beef, have free-range chickens, and horses to ride the surrounding trails. When asked what matters most, this is her reply: “Being there to help people on their best day or their worst day. Providing guidance, healing, and knowledge to help others reach the next milestone in their lives.” Considering a small farm? Interested in sustainable practices? Raising your own food? These are the types of questions that DeAnne has expertise, knowledge, and experience in! everyone that has worked with Dee knows, that she will be with you every step of the way... in her cowboy boots!
